"I'm just a small business, why would anyone want to hack me?"

It's a myth many an MD stuffs under their pillow to rest a little easier each night, but that's exactly what it is: a myth. With the digital age bringing more and more businesses online, the threat of a cyber attack is a real danger to businesses big or small.

With most small businesses having no security oversight, there is an urgent need to put cyber security on the table. That's why we'll be talking about it at the FSB's Cardiff office on 11th May.

We're delighted to be given the opportunity to talk cyber security to other FSB members and non-members, as it gives us a chance to raise awareness of the issue and offer some guidance to small businesses like ourselves as to how to approach the subject.

With the many hats that everyone in a small business has to wear, sometimes it is difficult to give everything the attention it needs - we'll be explaining why cyber security should be at the top of a small business' agenda if they want to operate in today's world.

With advice, stories and even a couple of demonstrations, we're looking forward to what will be a great and (hopefully!) eye-opening event.
